This gorgeous momma-to-be has been waiting patiently for her maternity session. We have had typical North Carolina weather with afternoon rain showers and sometimes downpours. She was scheduled for the week before, but it poured all day long.

It rained the week before her scheduled session too, but luckily Saturday looked beautiful. So besides a little sweat (because it was HOT), her session was absolutely perfect!

We had her session at JC Raulston in Raleigh. The best part about a garden session is there are a lot of different scenes to use to create a variety of images in your gallery.

My favorite part about the park is how the light of the sun setting shines so beautifully through the Spanish moss and branches of the big oaks. It is so amazing and looks just a little bit different at different times of the year. During the summer months it’s a soft yellow light filtering through the trees. It was a perfect backdrop for this sweet couple.

So happy we had such a beautiful evening for this sweet couple. The weather was perfect, momma was breathtaking in the red gown, they were as sweet as can be. Excited to meet their baby boy in just a few short weeks!
